In early 2016, five members of the orchestra auditioned and were successful in obtaining places to attend BISYOC, a music programme in the United Kingdom. BISYOC is an acronym for Bedstone International Summer Youth Orchestra. BISYOC is designed as a music programme intended to challenge participants to engage in the highest standards of music making in a symphony orchestra, with members drawn from all over Europe and, for the first time, a team from Kenya.

We invite you to be part of shaping the musical narrative for Kenya, by supporting the efforts of youth with great potential to be cultural ambassadors of the country and by extension, Africa.

Being the only African participants at this event gives them a unique platform to provide fresh perspectives of the African experience on an international stage.

This concert is aimed at raising the funds needed to send the KNYO representatives to the UK for this course. It is our hope that with your help, we will be able to raise money to cover air fares and the cost of the course itself.
Tickets will be sold at the door for Kes 1000 (per ticket).
